Alexander Sitkovetsky was born into a family with an established musical tradition. He made his concerto debut at the age of eight and has gone on to perform with the London Philharmonic, Netherlands Philharmonic, the Tonkünstler Orchestra Vienna, the Camerata Salzburg, the Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, Tokyo Symphony, Academy of St. Martin’s in the Fields and the Welsh National Opera among many others.

Alexander has shared the stage with Julia Fischer, Janine Jansen, Maxim Rysanov, Alexander Chaushian, Misha Maisky, Natalie Clein, Eric Le Sage, Polina Leschenko, Julian Rachlin, Boris Brovtsyn, and many others. He also performs regularly with the Razumovsky Ensemble and the Ensemble RARO.

Forthcoming highlights include dates with the Royal Northern Sinfonia, the National Polish Chamber Players, Verbier Festival, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Jerusalem International Chamber Music Festival, the Arctic Symphony Orchestra and the Russian State Philharmonic and the LPO – for which he has already received an invitation to perform again.

Alexander is a founding member of the Sitkovetsky Piano Trio, with whom he has won various prizes including the Mecklenburg Vorpommern Kammermusik Prize and has performed all over the UK and Europe including at the Frankfurt Alte Oper, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Wigmore Hall in London.
